Syria

Today we are breaking away from the history of Journalism to talk about something very important in the news today.

The agenda for today is to take this brief survey, watch a 10 minute video from MSNBC.com, then independent find one news article about the same topic to share with your classmates on Schoology.com

Your homework for tonight will be to watch or listen to the president's address on the topic of Syria.

Remember, steps to creating a hyperlink:
Creating a link on the Mac.

  1. Highlight the text on your narrative that you want to create the link for.
  2. On the menu bar, click Insert.
  3. Go down to the Hyperlink option and click. The Insert Hyperlink box will come up.
  4. Change the center setting from Web Page to Documents, if it is not already there.
  5. Click Select and browse to your artifacts folder, then locate your first artifact. Shortcuts: hold Control down and click for "right click" Command +C for copy and Command +V for paste
  6. Click on the artifact document you want. Note: When you click on Select (Step 5), if the document you want is not recognized, simply type the name of the file in the Link to box.  This will accomplish the same thing as clicking on the document.
  7. Click OK, and the link has been made.
